European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA), European Biogas Association (EBA) and Biorefine Cluster Europe invite you to join the EU Green Week side event "Greening the gas grid for sustainable cities & communities". The workshop will take place on May 24th at the Scotland House, Rond-point Schuman 6, in Brussels.
Places are limited due to the venue capabilities, do not miss your chance!
Event Description The EU is making efforts to support cities and communities in their transition towards greener and more sustainable ecosystems, in alignment with the climate and energy targets foreseen by the COP21. In this context, the EU has introduced new regulatory frameworks boosting circular economy (including waste to energy valorisation) and increasing the renewable energy share in Europe, such as the recast of the Renewable Energy Directive and the approval of waste package. Featuring members of the EU institutions and representatives from the industry sector, the conference will be the perfect opportunity to discuss the numerous advantages that green gas can bring to European communities and their contribution to reducing GHG emissions and promoting circular economy. |
