Our company is a holding of Ackermans & van Haaren and has grown tremendously (+50% year-on-year) over the last 2 years. We have been able to achieve this by developing a unique product, created by our R&D team, supported with a great service and sold from Italy to Japan. To take the company to the next level, we are looking for Young Professionals who want to launch their ambitious career at an innovative organisation in rapid development.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You are the business card of our company and regularly visit our customers, mainly farmers, in Wallonia and Le Grand Ouest in France. When interacting with customers, you communicate factually and clearly. Ideally you live in SW Flanders or Lille Region.
- You will be responsible for the maintenance of our biogas plants and act as troubleshooter/analyst in case of breakdowns. Faults can be of electromechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic nature.
- When physical interventions are required, you help out our customer on site, with support from our headquarters in temse, Belgium.
- You will be responsible for keeping parts in your service vehicle up to date at all times and proper reporting of your daily activities in our ERP system.
- Your stay abroad can vary from 1 day to a full working week, depending on the distance and the assignment.
- You participate in a rotating support system for breakdowns outside regular working hours and on weekends.
- You will face new challenges every day, each time at a different location and with a different customer.

PROFILE

- You enjoy detecting and localizing technical malfunctions.
- You like to roll up your sleeves and be proactive.
- You have a good basic knowledge of the standard Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and, after initial training, you will report your daily activities in our ERP system.
- You make it your mission to ensure the best solution for our customers and do not give up when faced with a complex challenge.
- In this position, you have a high degree of autonomy, which you manage in a professional manner.
- You have a valid driver's license and are a responsible driver.
- You put safety first and adhere to applicable safety regulations at all times.
LANGUAGES: Bilingual in English - French or English - Dutch. Knowledge of another language is a nice to have.
QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION
- Experience: A first relevant working experience in a similar role.
- Degree: Bachelor degree with experience in the field of electricity and/or mechanics or equivalent by experience.
